Kelly'S Riverside Motel - Taumarunui

This hotel had a great king studio with a separate kitchen that was just right for us, complete with a microwave, electric kettle, and fridge.

Truly enjoyed every detail about our pleasant 1 night stay here. Overall it was well-equipped, with a private bathroom. The staff were excellent, peaceful and handy location central to tourist attractions. Also, there was Priory Ruins next door to the hotel;)))

This hotel has a great location right by the river, making it very convenient.

The hotel was a suitable place for enjoying a lovely area, short walk to the centre of town. We had a studio with comfy bed and a refrigerator, tea and coffee making equipment, and a dining area. All in all everything was immaculate, nonetheless we had very small bathroom. The staff was helpful and amazing friendly, doing great job. Also, location was excellent and nice, relatively near Rangaroa Domain.

Location adjacent to restaurants and Maccas as well as the town amenities. Great service throughout my stay.

The parking is on-site and the room is tidy, with a comfortable bed and good room size.

We were warmly welcomed with complimentary muffins and the host was extremely helpful and pleasant. The unit was spacious and exceptionally clean. We appreciated the efficient heat pump and the automatic heaters that took the chill off the brisk morning. The location was perfect, close to amenities like the supermarket and McDonalds.

The hotel's decoration was lovely and it had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The furniture and decor had a classic charm that made me feel right at home. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate and access everything I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring that the hotel was accessible for senior people like myself. It had handrails in the hallways and ramps for easy access, making my stay comfortable and safe.

I would have loved to have more options for activities specifically designed for senior guests. It would have been nice if the children working there had some suggestions for things to do in Taumarunui that are suitable for our age group.

We had a fantastic stay at this motel. the manager was incredibly welcoming and set us up with everything we needed, including extra blankets for our comfort. the location was amazing, with parking right outside our door and convenient access to a supermarket and McDonald's. the room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable king-size bed and chairs. We loved having a back door that led to a patio area, although we didn't get to use it due to the rain. the heat pump provided warm air, making the room cozy. it was a great experience and we highly recommend this place.

We felt truly spoiled during our stay at this motel. There were absolutely no complaints at all.

During our recent stay at a budget motel, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the location was convenient, close to amenities and within walking distance to town. We enjoyed a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep despite the proximity to the highway and trains, and were impressed by the provision of basic but essential amenities in our room including a stove, oven, microwave, and fridge.

The property could benefit from some minor updates, such as replacing worn light switch covers, to further enhance the positive impression created by the motel.

The location was great, just a few steps away from shops and restaurants. Plus, we got two complimentary drinks upon arrival. It was nice that we didn't have to spend extra money for our first drinks. We also loved the cozy atmosphere of the room, it felt like a home away from home.
